Saguaro National Park Elopement

Heather and Lauren wanted a simple day exploring a desert landscape for their elopement. Lauren was initially drawn to exploring Tucson and the massive saguaros. So taking a short break from the moody PNW, we headed down to the sunny Sonoran Desert to spend the day exploring this beautiful landscape!

They had a slow morning getting ready at their Airbnb and then held their private ceremony in Saguaro National Park (which is split on the East and West side of Tucson). Food is really important to Heather and Lauren, so they hired a private chef to cook a 5-course dinner for all of us. We cannot thank them enough for including us in such a spectacular dinner. And we’ll highlight below their vendors (amazing local women-owned businesses).

After a spectacular meal, we all headed out on a short hike to watch a classic Tucson sunset. It was such a beautiful evening, even getting some alpenglow on the mountains around us! We celebrated the end of their elopement day with delicious cake and some of their favorite beers from Texas!
