Redwoods National Park Elopement

Northern California Elopement in the Redwoods

These two came all the way from Fredericton, New Brunswick to elope in the Redwoods. Strangely enough, one of Ryan’s Canadian road-trips took him through Fredericton. Eloping amongst these massive trees was extra special, since Dane is an arborist back home. Chee wanted to walk around barefoot, and the Redwoods this time of year (September) was perfect for the occasion.

While they live on the East Coast, they have family spread out across Canada. Instead of having everyone travel to the Redwoods for their elopement—Chee and Dane did a wedding tour. And after US travels, continued on to visit family in different providences. We thought it was such a cool way to travel as newlyweds—while getting to visit and celebrate with different parts of their family. This wedding tour idea was super fun—and we enjoyed watching each of their celebrations with different family. They also snuck away to a remote cabin in Alberta that looked cozy as hell. So between their fairytale Redwoods elopement, to their wedding tour—we’d say these two did a kick ass job of eloping, traveling, and celebrating with family.
