General Questions
I have a documentary-style approach. Meaning I don't wait for the "posed" or more "traditional" moments to take photos. I never want to assume any moment isn't important! I also aim to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed around me so I can capture more candid moments (the bread and butter of my work).
I have been a full-time wedding photographer since 2010. And I graduated with a degree in photography + graphic design. So I've been running my wedding photography business full-time ever since!
Do you have vendor recommendations?
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Of course! I send over guides in my planning process that has recommendations for hair & makeup, florists, cakes, and Airbnbs specific to your location. You can also check out my current blog posts for links to vendors too!
That’s okay! I have a laidback approach to documenting your day which makes it easier to relax and be yourself. I won’t constantly be holding my cameras and snapping a million photos. I also use a variety of prompts to help you stay focused on each other. Most of the couples on my website are either introverted or not used to being in front of a camera. You'll do great. I promise!
biz Questions
How many couples do you book?
What package is best for us?
I work with up to 25 couples each year. I'm very intentional with my bookings to stay creative and focus on each of my couples. I live a simple life in the mountains and prefer to slow down and connect with each of my couples.

Questions
How many photos will we receive?
This can depend on the activities of your day, guest count, and other factors. But you can expect to receive 50-70 images per hour of coverage. I never want to assume what's an important moment or photo. So you'll receive a ton of photos!
You will receive your full gallery of your edited, high-resolution photos within 8-10 weeks of your wedding. And I'll also send over a handful of sneak peeks within a few days. I know how exciting it is to get a few photos to share with friends and family!
Where do you work?
What kind of weddings you book?
For 2024 and beyond, I'm almost exclusively working in Colorado! While I have traveled and worked all over the country (mostly in Washington), Colorado is honestly my favorite place in the world. It's a great place to get married and I love staying local! I do occasionally take on weddings for Grand Teton National Park, since that's also one of my favorite places (I used to live in the National Park with my husband).
I mostly book micro weddings here in Colorado. I also take on elopements and bigger weddings too. For me, it's mostly about working with couples who want a more relaxed wedding day to enjoy nature and spend quality time with their loved ones celebrating.
