It's one thing to be a photographer and pose a couple. It's a completely different skill set to help guide couples into meaningful candid moments reliably on their wedding day. ⁣
I've spent the past many years creating my own unique way of directing/guiding couples into authentic moments. This is the heart of my work and perhaps one of the more important parts of your wedding day you'll look back on for decades to come.

One of the only "inverse alpenglows" I've ever seen. The light was blocked somehow by clouds in a way that the alpenglow started at the base of the mountain and went towards the top in the opposite direction. ⁣
I love getting to see the lighting change so drastically in these mountains!

Fall is such a short season and changes depending on so many different factors. But it goes without saying, fall weddings and elopements are my favorite! The air is crisp, the promise of winter is in the air, and the beautiful colors completely transform the landscape. ⁣

I work in lots of beautiful outdoor places, but let me tell ya, I absolutely LOVE venues. Especially ones in Colorado + Washington where nature is basically half the venue anyway. ⁣
Let me tell you why:
-Venues are PRIVATE. No tourists or hikers to interrupt your ceremony or photo experience with me.
-They are guaranteed. This isn't a public trail that can close without warning.
-It cuts down on driving + lets you spend more time celebrating without the extra logistics. Now, I still love trails and exploring with my couples. But it's worth pointing out that venues are totally worth it for couples celebrating with guests! And there are more and more micro wedding venues popping up to cater for smaller weddings.
